So I practiced my caligraphy tonight. I think I am getting to the point where it doesn't look so bad. Another night or two of practice, I should be ready for real envelopes. Jenave,

You are so funny, writing out invites to your cats! ;) But it's good practice. I'm still going to advertize my services- my cousin is getting married next spring, so I may do hers! then I'll have the NYC market, heh heh.

Just an idea- you can get calligraphy markers (from Staples or Office Max) in different sizes and styles- that's what I used- they are a lot easier and less messy! Use a fine or medium point, depending on the style you are doing. Make sure to get more than one though, because after almost 200 outside and inside envelopes, they give out :)

Good luck!

I am impressed that you are doing it yourself. I gave the envelopes to my mom who has nice cursive writing-my handwriting stinks! No one will judge you!! ;) Good luck!
