If i remember correctly, is Jim okay with Peter Gabriel? Because "In Your Eyes" is a lovely ballad type song that might fit both of your styles (also my and Michelle Hilke's wedding song). Another great one that Kelly Rodgers sang in my ceremony was "At Last" originally sung by Etta James. Hard to argue a classic like that...

Hi Jen,

What about "True Companion"? I think it's by a country artist but I know it's been played on z100, etc. It was popular a few years ago. John and I have a special connection to the song "In your eyes" and that's why we chose that as our wedding song, but if we didn't have "our song" I would have chosen True Companion. It's so beautiful. It's just all about the man having chosen his one true companion for his life and how even when he goes up to heaven he'll be waiting for his true companion. I get teary eyed just thinking about it. Another great song is "I knew I loved you before I met you." I think that is by KC and JoJo. At LAst by Etta James is a beautiful, classic song too. I agree with When we dance by Sting. One line is "come and live with me. we'll have children of our own. i will love you more than life, if you'll come and be my wife." Oh! I want another wedding! I can't wait till yours! I love weddings! I'll be the maniac crying in the pews!
