So, dear friends. Let me enlighten you on the trials and tribulations of living overseas. Now most people like to say that nothing makes sense over here but that's not really true. It makes sense if you look at the reasoning behind how things are done. Unfortunately, my lack of familiarity with how things are done tend to complicate things

Man that's a pretty excessive amount to have to pay for trash bags. There's gotta be something you don't know yet.

It's essentially the Garbage Tax. I kind of respect how they figured out how to do it. If you want to have your garbage picked up, you have to buy the trash bags from the city. Which means, you pay for how much trash you put out or crap you waste. So, a single guy isn't paying the same tax as a family of eight. Kind of nice.
