So, I got a call on Tuesday from a gentleman at Lancaster Laboratories. Apparently they have major offices in Lancaster Pennsylvania but have minor offices around the country working as small departments in and around other major industrial and pharmaceutical companies. They have a small group of about 2 dozen that works at Lily

A guy in my department at Lilly is a contractor, and he just this week accepted a position with Lancaster. So he'll be a Lancaster employee, working at a Lilly location.

He lives in Bloomington, too, so maybe if you guys both get the job you could carpool.

I thought about going to Lancaster, but the estimates I've heard for what they are offering are significantly lower than what I make now, and unless I have to I don't want to take such a significant pay cut.

Still, I wish you luck! It would be good to see you in a better job! If I'm still at Lilly when you get the job we could have lunch together.

I just talked to my co-worker who has the Lancaster/Lilly position: he would LOVE to carpool, should you get the job. Definitely keep me informed, as carpooling would rock for both of you.
