Wow girl, good luck. You're bravery is so very admirable. Seeing as I've lived through family dying from the advanced complications of Diabetis, I know the horrors well, and it's amazing that I know someone who will be there to put an end to the affliction. I'm beyond happy and proud.

Wow, this is fantastic... splendid... splentastic, even! I can't tell you how happy I am to hear about this, especially that it's not you posting to say that you've found the cure in some crazy, super-radioactive monkey-pill that has these awful side-effects, but all in all, it's worth it. No good! I mean, this sounds really great. They haven't tried this type of thing earlier? Come on people. We could've done this years ago with a steak knife and a coat hanger! I am so joking, sorry. I'll try to see you before you leave, so I can give you many hugs. I got dibs on taking you out for insane amounts of ice-cream and watching you totally not check your blood sugar. It sounds like it may take a while to reach that point, but still. Best of luck to you!

Oops, forgot to close the italics on "totally". Well, we'll just pretend I put a lot of emphasis on the whole last part of that comment.
