I cannot begin to express my sympathy, Molly and Arthur. The loss of family is a burden no one should have to bear, let alone without the help of friends. My house is open to you, of course.
The house is too quiet. Even the cats seem to have noticed. However, sadness passes, leaving a new day.
I hope for dawn soon.

It has been a rather busy time here at No 8.
I have done a systematic investigation of each of my cats, and am quite sure that only Tufty posed any threat. This makes me both pleased and sad, as of all my felines, Tufty was the one who had the most manners in terms of personal space and privacy.
Explains a great deal, really, in hindsight.

Thank you so much for the flowers. However, I'm a bit perplexed, you see. For I am not ill, nor sick, nor did one of my 'hellbeasts' die.
To what do I owe the honor?

Kingsley was gracious enough to give me a new kitten who is utterly adorable but already eating me out of house and home. Luckily Tufty seems to be adopting a rather brotherly nature to him, so that's well.
Alastor Moody is a filthy liar.
My goodness, but these things can be rather liberating, can't they?
