I need advice
I am currently considering upgrading from my current phone to a Sidekick II. Its a cool toy and I like it. However, I'm not sure its worth the money for me to get it. Grandma had a stroke over the weekend. A big one; she still can't move the left side of her body. For an already frail 97-year-old, this is a serious problem. It is possibly the beginning of the end. I can't even go into the details right now. I've been working with a fly stock for the past year, and am close to submitting a paper on the work. The stock was made by a former member of the lab, so I trusted it. I should not have trusted it. Today I proved that the stock is not what I was told it was, and that all the data is unpublishable. Insult to injury
It turns out that being infected with malaria makes you more attractive to mosquitos. It turns out to be a clever way to increase the spread of malaria, but my first thought was, "That's just mean!" -

We have a fence! Yeah yeah, we already had a fence, but now we have more. We have a dog run. And a big hole in the back door for the dogs to walk through. Its all very exciting. Sometimes people are clever. And creepy. A group of Swedish scientists wanted to study how long cells last in the human brain. They were able to do so because of nuclear weapons. We have this large back yard, you see. Its huge, because we have a corner lot. We'd like to install a doggy door and let the children run around in the back yard as they please.
