So, I bought a car today! I ended up getting the 330i ('03, certified pre-owned). I got a sweet deal and am really happy to finally wrap this car shopping stuff up. I haven't taken any pictures yet, but here's one from the dealer website:

No worries about early, I was basically doing some last minute panicing. After my additional research I came to the same conclusion -- 3 series is the best for me at this point.

We can race sometime maybe, but you'll have to give me a minute or two head start to make things fair ;p

Thanks! Being both beamer drivers, we now share a bond that's basically thicker than bloodlines and almost on the level of husband/wife. In fact, if you aren't seeing anyone we may as well take that last step, right?

Every report I read while doing my research basically said "DO NOT BUY MERCEDES!" Even German people rank Mercedes as being low in quality control and reliability.
