Hey, it's great to hear you'll be back at MFF this year! And there's good news at least - gas is around $2.40 and dropping here, and even cheaper in Ohio and Indiana.

Thanks, Duncan! I didn't realize you kept an eye on my journal.

I'm looking forward to coming back. I had a great time in 2006, which was my only time actually attending the con.

My best wishes and sincere thanks to you and all the staff for your hard work. I hope everything comes together smoothly at the new property.

I'm planning on making MFF myself so might see you 'round there then... I intend to try and get in the artist alley but we'll see otherwise hit me up while I'm there we can exchange info and whatnot. You ought to think about FC it's a great con and one of my staples... this year has been year of the conventions for me... I usually only make 2... that being FC and MFM, but this year I have made 3 and this will be my 4th :>

Great! I'll be sure to look for you. If you see me first, be sure to flag me down; I sometimes have trouble picking out people's faces in crowds. It'll be nice to catch up.

I did make it to FC once in 2007, but that was a fluke. My job imploded in December of 2006 under very bad circumstances (you can read my journals from back then for details if you're interested, though it's not very important) and I took a long driving vacation visiting various folks across the country. Fortunately, we had a very dry January and it was smooth sailing all the way. I met up with bigbahamut in Montana and we went to FC together ( ... )
