Good Thoughts and Energy, please
Hurricane Gustav is a Catagory 4 and, to put it mildly, doesn't look good for New Orleans and other points along the gulf coast. Hanna is now a tropical Storm, and gods know where/what she will do and go.
For all of my virtual friends and aquaintances in the path, my thoughts are with you.

A quiet moment or two
I've just finished my training for the new position and yesterday was the first day on the floor. I don't have access to a goodly chunk of the systems i need to do my job, but this class came up fast and some of these id's take a while to get here. The Birthday that was.
Birthdays are an odd thing for me these days; I am not quite certain how I am supposed to feel about them. Last year, the big 50, Dan went into the hospital, so my birthday was rather understated to say the least. It does mean another year gone by ( Read more... ) -
Overkill
I may have mentioned here at the end of November, that a wonderful conjunction of events came together: A tax free night at the local superstore and $400.00 worth of in store accumulated credits.
