It was recently brought to my attention that I will never met everyone. 
I will never know everyone else's pains and joys.

It makes me sad, to know that I will never be able to help everyone out there.

Its a big world out there.

And I'm just now realizing how big.

I'm trying to find this movie that I saw on TV the other night. It was like an 80's B-movie, but it was really good.
I don't remember the cast or the title, so that makes it really hard to find this movie.
Its a "grown-up" version of Little Red Riding Hood. Not a porn, but just a different look at the story.

I hate technology. Cell phones, laptops, IPods, HD TVs. Sure, they make life easier. And a whole lot more comfortable.

But for the sake of what?

Text messaging, instead of calling and talking on the phone?
Emailing instead of writting an actual letter?
Plugging your ears instead of opening yourself up to the world around you?

So, the weekends coming up and I don't have to work except Saturday afternoon - I'm pretty much free. Just don't really have anything to do. All my friends are working. My friend T is having a BBQ party kinda thing. Might go there, but don't know. Won't be till after 6pm - thats when I get off work.

I don't want to be alone, but neither do I want a "boyfriend".

I'd like to have someone to go to the movies with, but every guy that I ask to go to the movies with makes it into a date, and then thinks that they should "get something" at the end of the night.

That's what I want. Someone that I can write to or chat with. Someone that I can unload all my problems, and they can unload all their's on me. They wouldn't know my friends and I wouldn't know their's so there wouldn't be any biased judgements or chance of offending anyone.

Normally I go out on Saturday nights, with friends or whatever. But tonight, I just don't feel like it. I'd like to go out and eat, but I just don't feel like getting up and getting dressed and ready.

Why bother?

I'm in school. Don't know if I've said that or not. Going to college for a criminal justice degree. I want to do intelligence/research work for the government. Not sure which agency yet.

High hopes, right? I think so too. But, thats what I want. And thats what I'm going after.

Thats what matters, right?

I'm still not sure what to say.

Don't really sure what I'm looking for either.
