The Dane left to go back to Daneland yesterday. Boo. Everything is still great between us. We had a few long (huggy) talks when he first got here. Communicating over the internet is hard. We started clinicals at Arkansas Children's Hospital today and two words describe my experience there :

One being inspiring. I got to witness my first open heart surgery today and it was on an infant. It was AMAZING. Hearts are marvelous muscles....and it's so exciting and awesome to see the technology we have and what we can do to help these ( Read more... )
