WHO? Erin and [I can't remember her husband's name!]? How can we continue to think as one when I don't even know which relatively-recently-married couple you're referring to?
It wasn't Erin and Bill, but rather Jason and Geneen. Jason was Nanny's grandson and technically Erin's nephew (sounds twisted to those of you who don't know them, but don't worry, they're not from West Virginia or anything). He's the one with the blonde hair, played football in high school, older brother of Nicole. Erin and Bill got married...maybe two years later, now that I'm thinking about it. I know Jason and Geneen got married before Erin and Bill, and I thought it was only a year, but that's not making sense. I'm thinking out loud and getting nowhere.
HOWEVER, Geneen and Erin just had baby boys one month apart. I guess not "just," since that was like a year ago. Geez, time flies!
ok, this is pretty damn odd, because i was listening to the radio post-gym, approx 730-8 pm -- at the approximate time of your post and must've heard the same song, and I too took note, though only to think, "How the HELL did he get away with using a word like 'Groovy' in a song in the 1980's anyway? He must be pretty darn amazing, if ya think about it.
WELL, after it was on the radio i turned to my mom and was like "that's going to be my wedding song. who sings it, phil collins?" and she said "no, that's an older song. it's an older group singing." then i looked it up and realized it was originally performed by some other group a while ago, and then phil collins rerecorded it. i didn't go so far as to look up WHEN the original people performed it, but i bet it was during a time when it was normal to use "groovy."
