If those close to me were ever asked to describe me... emotional is not a word I would assume they would use. Certainly not the first word I would EVER use to describe myself

I'd like to start off with.... *hugs* Nothing I or anyone can say will take away what you are feeling, however if there were words that would do it, I would speak them immediately for you! I think your reactions are perfectly normal, and perhaps it's just that chemotherapy had its way of somehow convincing you that the inevitable would in fact not happen. Now that you are more aware of the end, your mind is reeling. Again, there is nothing I can say to you that will help, all I can say is that my heart goes out to you and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. Find a way to visit, and do what you need to do, but do not ever consider yourself weak for experiencing emotions based on what you are going through.
