Just how is it that “The Really Boring Sounding Case of Benjies Back Door Button” gets 13 Oscar nods and Batman Returns gets one??

There is a reason no one watches them anymore.

The Oscars are like our last president. Out of touch with the people.

Interesting. CNN reported yesterday that only Support Role was what it got.

I spent a week trapped on a boat with only CNN for my news. I have never felt more out of touch with what's going on in the world. They grab maybe 3 stories and beat them to death. Worse was when they interviewed some guy who saw the plane land in the Hudson river. They wanted him to compare the landing to what's taught in flight school as if this guy was an FAA expert. He was just a guy with an office window facing the river

They got 1 non-technical. That's probably what CNN MEANT to say, but failed.

It should have gotten more, if ROTK can get best picture then so can TDK.

Seriously, Benjamin Button? I haven't seen it so would someone who has PLEASE say if it's really that good? It looks rather bleh from the trailers.

You may be happy to learn that Benjie didn't win ANY Oscars. Probably got all the nominations by paying someone off.
