I recently started getting back into Morrowind (the computer version) after a friend of mine showed me how to utilize the Elder Scrolls Construction Set. After toying around with it for a while, I created an item called the DethKloak (yes, I was watching Adult Swim at the time). Basically, I got tired of the merchants always taking the good items

Only drawback I see is dead merchant=no selling, but there's always Creeper for that! plus the fact that not all merchants buy all stuff. Never mind. not awake yet.

While that is a drawback, the point is that you are able to rob the merchant and, pretty much, get away with it.

really good idea. i can't remember how many times i killed merchants when i saw them wearing my old stuff!

There are mods available, since you are on the PC, that fixes that little glitch. This way, you don't have to murder merchants just for your items.
