I do not believe new citizens are required to register with the city officials, such as they are.

Oh, no? Well, that can only work in my favour, then. Nothing to file, much easier than wasting time with forms. Terribly obliged!

Registry...? They probably got other omnipotent ways of keeping track of us. They're just all clock-work.

They check on the clock that frequently, then?

You're staying with Sylar?

morsmordre_met October 15 2009, 05:31:36 UTC
Oh, no - it's only that Mr. Sylar was especially generous with information, last we spoke. As were you, naturally. I'd not meant to exclude anyone by the one example.

Tom... Tom Riddle? Poor, tragic Merope. Which one of them is he?.

"We mustn't despair" Hmpf as if were so easy. Others have told you about the lack of registry, I will add something else, there is large building straight north from the Carousel: The Hall of the Missing is called. That is the closest to a record we have, one of those who were once in the City but have departed already.

My name is Rue, Riddle.

Despair brings the ugliest things, you realize.

Oh, I've read about that. Have yet to visit, but I imagine it's constantly open, yes, Miss Rue?

Like ravens. I realize.

It is, of course. Even during disastrous curses.

It's no imposition, honest. I hope you're settling in as well as is possible, in a place like this. Have any luck on the job front so far?

And I have a feeling that you're already noted in the books, if the deities have such things. No need to register.

Only an inkling, with Miss Camelot's help of a good word. Her father might take pity on me with a secretary position.

And what do you do with yourself, Mr. Sylar?

Ah, how nice of her. And I'll be sure to keep an eye out as well.

Here? I run a timepiece repair shop. It helps keep my mind occupied and oriented in the correct direction. I used to teach classes as well, but that was more of a hobby.

Classes? On what manner of subject? I don't suppose you still teach privately, do you? I'd be well willing to pay.
