I hate that about getting older, how all these icons from youth past seem to be leaving at a rapidly increasing pace. Especially that dude...I mean, really.
The worst part is that there doesn't seem to be many people who can replace these old performers. I don't know what is up with my generation, but after a bazillion local shows, I have to say, I am primarily underwhelmed with the quality of stage shows these days. There are rare exceptions (Firewater puts on a good show, although unlike most people, I seem to think that they get worse with each albumn), and Gogol Bordello still put on a good show.
At least Tesco Vee is still out there dumping YooHoo down the throats of his fans, dry humping his wig bedecked bassist, and firing confetti out of a 6 foot long cock. But still, he's old as shit too, during the most recent show of theirs, he fell down on stage into a bunch of chords and got stuck, he needed help to get back up (it didn't stop him from singing, and he mocked himself afterwards, but it was still kind of depressing).

The Cramps have been, over the years, probably my "favorite" band, and he's gonna leave some pretty big high-heels to fill.
Bummer.
