Well, today was a day of uncertainties. Harry was supposed to fly out to NYC tonight for work, and instead of flying back in the evening as is his custom, he decided to go visit his sister in CT and return on Sunday night

frankly, I was out and had no plans of going back there to get crammed into a tiny room that's too small for the group just to get free shrimp. I have shrimp at home.

my poor honey drove from Geneva to Albany yesterday afternoon, to fly out of Albany to DC on Friday. He got 30 minutes from Albany to get a call that his flight was canceled. I talked to him this morning. This business trip ain't happening because of timing. So he'll head up here today rather than tonight. But we're watching the forecasts for Sunday. He'll have to head back early enough to miss this other one.
Egads. It's so hard to plan trips around here this time of year. During a bad snow in 2000, it took me 12 hours to make the 4.5 hour drive to Cleveland on I-90. Took 6 hours just to get to the NY/PA border. Horrors.
