Seems I've got a case of the stupids and likely just lost all of our photos and documents. In case I can't recover them (or rather have them professionally recovered) I was wondering who out there has copies of photos from our wedding, various hiking trips, canoe trips etc? 'Cause it'd sure be nice to get a copy.

I think it would have worked better to browse the drive before it got (basically) wiped, but yes... we will bring it to a professional. Was it very expensive to have yours done?

I have photos from Chiks trips, and just very few from your wedding. Had you posted anything in Flickr? Those should be safe...
And in the spirit of closing the gates after the horses escaped, I strongly recommend the small external hard disk I have to back up everything on it...
