You're welcome. How are you feeling now? I was worried I couldn't help much. That you'd get asked questions at work.

I'm alright. Still feel a little faint and light headed, but I think they presumed at work I was hungover or had a bad headache. Nobody's asked me yet, so I'll consider myself lucky.

Don't let your guard down. Let me know if you need anything. And Caius? Don't think about it.

I'm not. Especially as I'll have to talk to an Auror soon. Remember Gregor the Georgian? Only met him once, but he had his throat slit last night. It's a nasty, nasty corpse.

...I am trying. I really am.

It's better now. My girl's a pretty deft hand at bandaging and making sure I don't bleed on her furniture.

What bad news?

Ah, alright then. I just wanted to make sure.

Well, you used the Curse on a man, did you not? I weakened the trace, but I could do little else. They're very difficult to cover up if you haven't seriously injured the man before you use the curse.

I'll live. Thanks for the concern. What about you? Carrow didn't, uh, do anything, did he?

So? They can't pin the murder on me unless they have my wand, right?

No, he didn't. My god, you're paranoid.

They can't, no. I'd still be careful.

Oh really? So now they're playing dirty, well, isn't that splendid.

I haven't a clue, I went to go shopping at Diagon Alley, and the whole place looked awful.

Well, their self righteousness could only last so long, couldn't it? The lord might play by the rules, but the devil wins by his tricks, no?

Worrying, isn't it?

I completely agree. They'll be doing unforgivables, next. We should try and find some darker spells, if it's even possible. Have the upper hand, and all.

Completely. The whole place is a shambles.

I don't think you can get much worse than unforgivables. And Aurors are licensed to, didn't you know? In exceptional circumstances.

I hate it when I miss things.

Thank you very much. If any of the other bodies look suspicious, I'll contact you, although most of them seem to have been crushed.

Thats the problem with falling buildings. They tend to do that to those trapped inside.
Try as you might to extracate people

There is no need to point that out to me.

Some youths blasted the hell out of that Defence school in Diagon Alley. At least, thats what the Prophet said.

Apparently Dumbledore showed up too. Makes you wonder what's so special about that school...

That would explain the crushed bodies I have here.

Did you know that Gregor the Georgian was killed there? But not by the falling building?

Really...as in murder?

As in deliberate and fatal gash to the neck, slicing open both the jugular vein and carotid arteries. That's murder in my book.
