ya know what... i think some of your explanations are bullshit. i think life has worked out for you more than you think. you've got jen... an amazing girl... and she loves you. you've got it all hun... whether you know it or not. love is everything in this piece of shit fucking world we live in. it's more than money... and clothes... and jobs... and life. it's more than all of us. and you've got that. seriously... think about it... as long as you have love... you'll conquer all. the greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return. and you've done that... and your life it set

That, right there was probably the ignorant statement that I have ever read, and I am studying to be a lawyer.
Trust me, love helps, but it is not *all*. I would probably explain my stance more, but it is 1:40AM...I'm tired, and you just dropped 23 f' bombs in your comment.
People who commit suicide are usually very sick. Mental disease is nothing to be trifled with. Sometimes treatment just doesn't work. It's good that you're strong and have been able to work through your shit, but not everyone is strong. You're healthy, that's good. Be thankful for that. If you were SEVERELY and suicidally depressed, it does NOT seem like there's a way out, because the problem is not your circumstances, it's your brain. So... yeah. that's my 2 cents.
And what would you say to those of us who have gotten off our asses and looked for it? What would you say to those of us that have loved and had it thrown back in our faces and told that it wasn't real? What would you say to those of us that have loved so deeply and had it mean nothing? What would you say to those of us that have been hit, kicked, pushed, burned, cut, abused, and worse? What would you say to me?
I'll tell you what nowkatsamaDecember 12 2005, 09:08:29 UTC
Grow up- I don't mean that in a condensending way, either. It happens to a LOT more people than you realize, but those who know better move on with their lives. Love isn't one sided, nothing is- but to dwell on it is pretty pointless, and isn't accomplishing anything.
Stand up, dust yourself off, learn from mistakes, and try again. Same as with everyone and everything else.
