What a great chase scene!! I could practically feel the speed and the action kept me on the edge of my seat!

"Kill the horsies!" Giles snaps. "They can't be normal horses, or they wouldn't be able to keep up with the car!"

LOL! I did wonder for a brief moment if Giles should get his money back from his car salesman asap, but this explains a lot... ;P

And 'HA!' to Giles' reaction to Faith's revelation! Xander has some explaining to do...

Thank you! To me, describing action is very hard. I tweaked the scene endlessly.

Hee! When I was mapping out the story, I've completely forgotten that Spike had crushed Giles' oldsmobile in season 4. Imagine my frustration when I've started to write the chapter and decided to have a close look at Giles' car in hope to discover some juicy details. "Ahhh! I'm so screwed-up! No way could horses keep up with his shiny new car!" But after hours of frustration I realized that in Jossverse everything can be magical, including horses. Hail Joss! :)

Hey, honey! *waves*

I think about you every time I post a new chapter and people comment. I recall our discussions and I realize that some of your advices that seemed unimportant, were actually very important. People react strongly to Buffy's behavior, and I'm starting to wonder if I go too far and overstep onto the Buffy-bashing territory.

You may remember my debates with another fan about her older fic a year ago (in my book, it was a bashing fic, in her book it wasn't). Now I feel like I'm stepping into that fan's shoes. I love the way my story unfolds, and I think that Buffy would react the way she reacts in the story, and it doesn't turn her into a bad person. But sometimes my fingers itch to rewrite some lines and to delete some other lines. :)

I'm happy that you have a vacation and can rest. Forget about the fandom problems and enjoy yourself. *hugs tight*

Enjoyable new chapter, with Faith being her usual prickly pre-redemption self. Her flat "let's bond" got a little laugh out of me.

The unexpected benefits of Ethan's spell don't surprise me. Ethan cast a chaos magic spell, with all that implies. Wild power whose consequences are unpredictable. Chaos can bless as easily as curse.

Thank you!

Of course, Faith is prickly, because she doesn't expect anything good from them - in her eyes, they represent the Council. But after they face the danger together, and win their first joint fight, her attitude starts to change. At least, now she understand that the situation isn't as simple as she thought.

LOL Mommy Faith. I love it. I have a feeling Buffy will be unkind in the next few chapters. Can't wait for more.

Thank you!

Mommy Faith. I love it.

Frankly, I think that Faith would make a very good mom. Practical, no-nonsence, very caring and protective.
