Holy Toledo you DEFINE "beautiful bride"! No blarney there either. Congratulations! Many years of happy ahead. Hope every bad, every hardship, is in the past and the road ahead nothing but rose lined.

I really do think that all the rocky roads are behind us and though we might stumble on the road ahead, we'll stumble together.

Thank you for the compliment. I wish I still had those eyes and skin!

Blimey. You are so much better-looking now than you were then. So very, very much. Seriously. And I'm not saying that to be kind, because I don't do kind.

Do you really think so? I feel such a minger compared to that porcelain-skinned girl with her great big eyes and her tiny, size 8 body!

Yes, I really do. Oh, you certainly weren't unattractive in those photos! - but there's a callowness, almost a harshness to your features there compared to how you look in the assorted photos of you-in-recent-years that I've seen here. You've grown into your features, the configuration of your cheeks/cheekbones now is gorgeous, and your eyes glow with gentle experience and obvious life-love. Trust me on this :-)

Needless to say, I've not seen you in RL and have no idea what your skin and figure and such are like now. But we both know you've been having galloping dysmorphia, so you're probably not the best judge of 'em :P

Callowness is probably to be expected at 23 ;)

Strange to think that in less than a year and a half I'll be at the age Mum was when she had me! And I'm nowhere near grownup enough for that yet.

You were super pretty! And check out Dad's HUGE beard, heehee. Dad lost his beard as he gained his belly ;)

Wasn't Dad's beard great?!! No wonder we were known as Wolf Man and Rag Doll (I used to wear my hair in bunches - a lot!).

Heehee. No wonder it took you a while to warm up to his charms.

I remember trying on your wedding dress when I was about 12 and I was already getting too big for it - and I certainly wasn't a big 12 year old! You were so teeny.

But of course, you are still super stylish.

Interesting looking at the grandparents. Grandma was about 2 years older than I am now, and Nanna about 5 years younger!

Grandpa was 58 and Poppa was 54.

I'm 53 and Dad is 55.

These photos are lovely, for so many reasons. You are just as beautiful now as you were then.

Also. The beard is AMAZING.
