Before I realised this was a reference to television I thought this was a post about someone you've loved and lost. The first picture clearly seemed to be a shot of someone looking at several pints of beer in an "aha, I am about to drink ALL THIS BEER" way.

Then I googled for Alice Roberts and realised. It's not beer.

She's very pretty though :)

She did such cute experiments on herself like drinking some wine and measuring how her arteries relaxed or eating a plate of chips and then extracting the chip fat from her blood. Oh, and on the opening credits of the don't die young programme she was in a plane going upside down, and her plaits flop upwards. *So* adorable.

She is an artist too and sometimes paints internal organs on a gorgeous semi-naked black man. She has quite hippy clothes and rings including one with a silver lizard on it. Oh and she has a wonderful accent that I adore. I'm not sure what it is, probably vaguely posh bristol. Shreena has a very similar accent and it kept reminding me of Alice at a Buffy read-through ages ago.

Alice is making a new series about human evolution. I am looking forward to it.
