Felipe Fernandez-Armesto is a middle aged, oxford history professor who was arrested for Jaywalking in Atlanta whilst attending the American History Association conference. He gave an inteview about his experience and someone has put it on youtube. Well worth a look if you have the time.

I'm currently watching a Channel 4 'documentary' about the differences between private schools and state schools. It's bollox. The guy leading the documentary says things like "I've never been in a private school, I suppose I'll have to look now" and uses posh and private interchangeably. I am actually in Cannes on holiday but I am watching the news in horror. So far everyone is okay but I have a few people still to hear from. My sister is staying in our flat but she is ok. Love to everyone who is waiting to hear from anyone.
