Okay so the trick I find to getting people back into macro-blogging seems to be to keep posting and also commenting on other peoples stuff, to get involved in all kinds of random back and forth chit-chat. Okay its like obligatory to write posts after events as far as I can tell, however this is mostly going to be egotistical ranting about methods of characterisation, so I'm interested in hearing from people about how they get into characters.

Okay so I finally finished the mighty beast of a book and damn what a book. I may have to spend some time getting my thoughts in order on it. Short answer: Probably the most interesting sci-fi I've read in a good while.
