[China waits in his empty house almost nonchalantly, cradling the phone close to his ear in anticipation of his comrades' replies.

He's rearranged the living room just slightly; there are now armchairs on either side of the coffeetable, one of which he's currently lounging in. The couch remains adjacent to the table; Vietnam's intended seat, to better symbolize her awkward place between him and Russia, but that is a superficial concern of pure aesthetics. He's set out vodka for Russia and Vietnam, but nothing for himself. The cardboard box that still contains his bloody clothes has been placed near Russia's expected end of the coffee table.
