OK, I've got 10 minutes before work, lets see if I can say what's been going on...

• Blood tests! Tests came back negative for the really bad stuff (relief!) turns out we were right, it is hypoglycemia, so the course of action is pretty much what I currently do, but I need to learn to know better when I'm getting a sugar low so I can raise my levels ( Read more... )

I have a full set of fasting blood tests tomorrow. Possibly for diabetes or hypoglycemia, but who knows. It'd take less time to list what they're NOT testing for. :P Not wishing an illness on myself or anything.. but I hope they come back with something, at least. Something that can be fixed. I can't keep living my life like this.

Anniversary plans confirmed! We're going to Paris. We saw Regina Spektor on our first ever 'date' as such, and she's playing in Paris on the day before our anniversary this year! So we're going for five days, it'll be extra special. I keep getting memories of the first time we went to Paris!

It's been a good three years. :D

My dad is (finally) retiring!!!

Yayy! No more worrying about his health all the time and the long hours, and he'll never have to spend another winter here again. :) Ever since he had the stroke (Oct '06) I've been desperate for him to stop working. This calls for all kinds of multi-coloured text parties ( Read more... )

I am in love! .... With MAC's Select Moisturecover concealer. :)

The artist today was so sweet, and the concealer is just amazing. If you're like me and haaate wearing foundation, this stuff is really amazing. The coverage is good (and light) enough so that foundation isn't necessary to make it all blend out. This poor artist had to hear me go on ( Read more... )

Scoooore! :) I got to see Dr. Ponton (possibly the best doctor ever) today. After all the hoo-ha yesterday where the surgery wouldn't even believe that I was English! He was so nice, I've been switched to yet another pill and also prescribed Spasmonal (How funny is that name?!) for pain. It's actually a drug for IBS but it helps to relax the same ( Read more... )
