Spooky goings on here this morning.

Got up, as usual, used the bathroom then on to the kitchen. Time was about 8am. Mooched down the hall to the kitchen and, just as I got to the door the old mechanical egg timer went off. It's one of those where you twist the top and it measures up to an hour and rings the end. It's on top of the fridge, right at

I'm sure there is some logical and/or scientific reason why. Maybe it stopped long ago and some kind of vibration got it going again? Or whatever was jamming it from completing its operation finally let loose?

That'd be my guess - something maybe slipped or worked loose, and some stored energy saw it through a seemingly uncommanded timing cycle. Not to say it wouldn't feel weird regardless. ^_^;
