I would open "Mom's kitchen". An office designed to look like an old fashioned kitchen with fresh coffee and tea and maybe cookies. For 25 minutes you get to talk to a trained social worker...trained to listen and to deal with problems. I am very fond of the smell of bread baking---reminds me of my mom who could bake bread from scratch without a receipe... an art that has been lost.. at least as far as I am concerned. Mrs. Lundy. 2nd grade. She was so young- just out of university and cute and sweet and read wonderful books. Also her husband was the star on the U of Oregon football team and sooo cute! He picked her up after class every day.
