[someone else can now be heard. a stranger asking if Andromache is "OK". she doesn't know who they are, so she shuffles away quickly and soon they cannot be heard anymore.]

[a little worried now. this stranger seems to /know her name/]

... My name is Orestes--we're currently staying in the same apartment. You're not safe out there on your own--people around here aren't so friendly--just... Tell me where you are and I'm bring you back to the complex.

Oh... Well, um, I guess if we live together then you can't be that scary? Not that I thoughtyouwerescary...

[she stops for a moment now to actually work out where she is. she's only been toddling along randomly up until now with much notice being paid to where she was going :S]

There's, um, lots of trees and grass and benches and stuff. How about I wait on one of those?

[she's more willing to give up information now, because Orestes is on his way and everyone who is talking to her seems to be being really nice except for Patroclus and Orestes are fighting but it's OK because this new guy who seems oddly familiar isn't part of the fight so he must be nice- matter-of-factly~]

Well, Mr Orestes says he thinks I'm in a park. Which is why there are trees and stuff. And the sign over there says park I think but I'm not so good at reading so I don't know what the word before park is.

[a thought occurs to her-]

Why is everyone so concerned? 'Cos I don't really know any of them and everyone's just- just being so nice.

[this sounds like a good idea, she thinks-] Ummm, okay!

[half-distracted because she's looking for nice people with kids-] He seems nice. A little panicky, but nice.

[hopefully-] Is it pink?!

[she's distracted before she can ask any more; she's found someone with kids. shyly-]

'Scuse me? [louder-] 'Scuse me? Um, can you tell me where I am?... Please?

[the person she's talking to says something about "Central Park" and then stops to ask where Andromache's mum is. Andromache's answer is along the lines of "Thebes" and "Greece" and "not really here but Mr Orestes to coming to get her" and "I don't know him but he's nice but panicky". before the woman can say anything, Andromache toddles off and returns to her conversation with Theseus.]

I'm in Central Park? I think? That's what that lady said anyway. She was quite panicky. Like Mr Orestes. Why is everyone panicky today?
