Today we celebrated my having been here for 6 months.

I can't believe it's already been that long.

I so completely love being with this man. In spite of all the hardship and struggle.

Went out with the biggest group of people so far, in Amsterdam, for dinner, drinks and dancing. What a great night! The music at the club kind of sucked (understatement!) but it was a lot of fun anyway, because we were all taking the piss out of it ( Read more... )

You know, I thought I'd seen the craziest weather in New York, but this place has everything beat! This past year, in New York, we had days in January where it was so warm outside, that people were walking around in T-shirts, and within 24 hours, there was a snowstorm and freezing temperatures. My best friend in NYC is running the 26.2 mile NYC Marathon this Sunday, November 5th. She has been training for months, and not only that, but she is doing it for a good cause.
