Shortly after I got to work, I started having terrible gas pain. I went to the bathroom for a while and got some relief. A couple hours later, I went back to the bathroom and had diarrhea. At that point, I decided to come home. Unfortunately, that means I had to reschedule my appointment with the shrink. Now it's October 25th

I made it through the day without any bathroom emergencies. So now I'm just pissed at myself for breaking the appointment.

I called another clinic this afternoon to see if I could get an appointment sooner. They said the first appointment was late November. I hung up. Geez. Is it normal to make potentially mentally unstable people wait a month to see a professional?

My therapist wanted to see me a week after I called for an appointment, but she's a therapist, not a psychiatrist. Maybe that makes a big different in terms of appointment wait time?
