Depression or sanity?

I just went through a series of thoughts, which are emotionally disturbing to say the least. I found myself watching a group of teenagers trying to rub enough brain cells together inside a Panera long enough to make an order. I can't tell you you're wrong, because I constantly have the urge to take everything and donate it all. Especially those things that have been in boxes for two years or more..do I/Ryan really need those things? Apparently not..however..upon opening boxes and going through things..90% of it stays with us. It's very hard to detach from things. We're getting better, and I'm trying not to purchase things that we won't actually -use-, but still.

Things.
I guess it's just good that we don't have the money to buy Lots of Fancy things. I won't go on about how money is the root of evil, you can look up that chart on your own :)

Maybe you're right Meredith - maybe more people than I give credit to feel the same way. But it DOES seem like there are a lot of people out there who just couldn't care less. I donate time, money, and energy to things I feel are important as well, though I should probably do more. I feel like the innate inequality that we humans seem to perpetuate is almost like a law of nature sometimes. I mean, the squirrel that hoardes the most food over the winter is most likely to survive, right? This simple fact seems to demonstrate the adaptiveness of our gathering instincts ( ... )
