Is the nasal spray Flixonase? Green color cap? I was on it for a couple of years, it doesn't solve the root of the problem. Plus you can't just stop it after you have started using it. You need to taper off it over a month or two. Yes it's like addictive drugs and ciggies. Otherwise there will be rebound and your sinus troubles will get worse during 'withdrawal phase'. In the end I have to control the cause of my problems, wrap my mattress and pillow with expensive covers which doesn't allow dust mites to get through nor go in. Sometimes when I clean the house bigtime or move things around a lot I do still need to pop an antihistamine or two, but otherwise I'm coping fairly well. Did the doc tell you what type of sinusitis you have? Due to temperature? Biochemical (stress induced)? Allergies?
