I jinxed myself by loudly declaring my intention to go to bed early and be rested. My darling parents' godawful guest bedroom decided to turn itself into a Chamber of A Thousand Tortures, unaided by the fact that I developed a headache (likely from the wine at dinner) which felt like someone was sticking a hot poker into my right eye. Happy birthday! I really should get back into livejournalling ... I've got a Wordpress blog, but that's more of a professional thing, which leaves me wanting a place for more personal non-professional journalling.
