I passed the National Board Exam! That means I'm eligible to become an intern embalmer for real in August. I got a 90% on the arts portion and an 88% on the sciences. I'm pretty happy with that.
I'm taking Spanish and Arabic with my school, since I get 6 credit hours waived for each semester I teach a class in and since it means I can keep ( Read more... ) -

I'm worried that I'm using too much jargon and going into too much detail about stuff people who aren't embalmers either wouldn't get or wouldn't care about, and not talking about the characters enough. ☣ I'm done with mortuary school. I just need to take the NBE, which I'm hoping to do by the end of this month. I'll be studying for it everyday, but I'm honestly not that worried about it. I'm confident I'll pass.

Yessss school's almost out, I am so glad. I love school, but my classmates are bugging my shit right out and I am really looking forward to not spending this much money on gas on a regular basis.
Plus, once mortuary school is over, I can look for an internship and take the NBE and MOST IMPORTANTLY I can start my Spanish and Arabic classes. -

The Qur'an is possibly the most difficult thing I have ever tried to read. Which is saying something, because reading stuff in Thai was REALLY REALLY HARD. I have a feeling it reads better in Arabic, but since I don't read Arabic, this will have to do. -
