Well I have been signed off work this week. Went to see my gp yesterday re my stomach and he has told me the problem is mesenteric adenitis.  Mesenteric is a gland in your stomach and basically swells up when ever I have a virus like a cold.  Alas no treatment and pain killers dont work.. which i already came to that conclusion! are you happier now that IT has a name?
when you say there are no treatments does that mean it is permanent? or they can advise you of no treatments?

GAK!!! Stomach stuff sucks..

also feel your pain over IBS misdiagnosis.. I apparently almost died* aged 12 from those experts telling me I had IBS when it a was severe and rare-in-12-yr-olds illness instead.. stoopids!!!

* something tells me it was slightly less severe than this but me mam insists the doc said I'd've beena gonner in coupla weeks if he hadn't seen me!!
