i'm second guessing going to art school. both high school and college. this is only after reading the douglas anderson high school of performing and fine arts' decision for what they'll do for my audition. i wrote an essay, i sent my portfolio, and i made it clear that my focus (hahahahah. pun. hahahaha) would be on photography. they want me to ( Read more... )

when i auditioned for my school i had to draw, dance, play my violin (well, duh), sing, and act. even though i had no interest in all of those areas of art. i did pursue music, acting, and visual arts. now all i do is visual arts. i like being refered to as one of the weird art kids.

i'm getting off topic.

oh god. i hope i don't have to do any performance things. although, it didn't seem like i would have to...it seems like things were pretty straightforward for a visual arts major. show a portfolio, write an essay, have an interview, and sketch in front of them. i can't draw for my life. i'm going to take a couple classes. i don't think it'll do much good.

you should try it out. who knows? maybe they'll like the drawing. please don't doubt yourself because you are talented and your art is great. i wouldn't go to an all arts school, i think a liberal arts college is much better. yes'm. <3

i hate saying this to you but the mystery and excellence of new york city fades. rather quickly. especially when you live there.

yeah, i've heard that. if that ever happened to me (if it happens, i would happen slowly) i would just move again. i can't stay in one place.

i have never kissed anyone on new years eve/new years. usually i am at home with my family & this year i'll probably be really drunk with a bunch of girls. i'm beginning to think it's all overrated anyway. i mean that magic stuff is just in the movies after all.
