Great pics. Nice choice on camera as well. I almost went for the A80.

thanks!

my first digital camera was a Canon a60 and then it broke due to water condensation (booo). so when i went to buy a new one, i wanted something i was used to... and the a80 is so cool with the flip screen! one day i hope to get a SLR digital camera though.

what kind of camera do you have?

I have a Sony V1. I love it to bits, and its an amazing camera, but it has a tiny LCD screen (1.5") and no rotation. ;p

Yeah, I want a DSLR, but I don't have $3000. Plus it would be a bit big to carry around. With the V1 I can take it into hockey games, concerts, etc...

My dad has an 20 year old Minolta SLR. It takes amazing pictures, but it weighs a ton.

Do you use manual settings when you take pictures (like the ones here), or do you just use the auto mode?
