Coming to North Carolina has been eye-opening. It's really amazing to meet people with the same goals (post-bacc pre-med) and even cooler to see how they came about it (personal medical circumstances, waking up one day and deciding it was the right move, etc). I made the mistake of telling my parents that I'm thinking about volunteering at a local hospital during the school year.

• Went to China (Beijing and the Great Wall). Visited a friend. China's something...I'm glad to be home.
• TV (read: my life) came back.
• I stopped Friday Five-ing.

• I'm off to New York for a week (visiting and graduating).
• I'm off to North Carolina for a year of school (read: imminent death).
