Oh my

My heart, it breaks ; u ;

Prussia's present was really touching and sweet, such an awesome dad.

Thank you for this beautiful story, one of the best I've read, and I've loved every minute of it.

I don't even have a proper icon to express my feelings right now but it was a very very lovely ending Prussia would leave things like that for Freddie I have to wonder what profession he'll wind up being and it's a wonderful sort of creepy amazing though that yeah in a sense you could fit an entire childhood in a sense memories from it into a kids backpack now... damn. I loved it.

That childhood into a backpack line hit hard. I loved it.

Thank you. It seems like that line hit a bunch of people pretty hard; I thought it was the sort of image that would only be meaningful to me, so I'm glad it resonated with other people, too.

Thank you for reading and commenting! I never would have finished without you guys.

I told myself I wouldn't cry when I saw the last chapter was up. But, that was the saddest, cutest ending ever! Prussia leaving his journals to Freddy was a perfect idea, it fit the whole story so well and made the ending much, much sadder (And the fact that Prussia saved everything from Freddy's childhood was super sad/sweet too).
Awesome job with the story! I hope you make at least an epilogue or something. (Or just another fan fiction.)

Thank you! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the ending; I was worried that everyone would hate it.

As for an epilogue... I'm going to add a post for people to comment on with requests for additional scenes (whether from prior to the start of the fic, in the middle, or something like an epilogue). Although I'm too busy to write them just yet, if I feel inspired by any of the ideas, I might just go ahead and write them. If I ever have time.

Thank you so much for commenting.

I followed this on the kink meme, and fell in love with it there. Then you moved it to this journal, and I fell in love with it even more with each new chapter. And now that it's over, well....I almost want to cry. ;~; But this is a good ending. It's all bittersweet and lovely, and I just want to hug all the characters. Oh Prussia, you awesome nation you. You didn't go out with a whimper, and you managed to say good-bye. The childhood in a backpack line really hits home, because that's an excellent way for Matthew and Freddy to remember Gilbert.

I don't know what else to say, except that this has been an awesome ride the whole way, and thanks for making such a great story. ♥
