Before I noticed the sight, I heard the sound. The sound of bad hippie music. The same few chords being played on an out-of-tune accustic guitar. AAHHHHHHHHH!! I'm not sure my being in the midwest is far enough away from the atrocity you've just described!!! Have you tried playing some Slayer? It may might do the trick...

Oddly enough, the festival seemed to end about 2 hours after it started. Honestly, who throws a two-hour festival? Crazy, man.

I thought they were only allowed to do that on Earth Day. Even Cal Poly has a three day Earth Day festival (at our very own Center for Regenerative Studies-the only Masters program I'd consider attending).

Eeyore's Birthday Part is an annual event in Austin that happens on the last Saturday of April. It lasts all day. If you are careful, you can avoid this gathering completely.
