You kids and your summer vacation. Fast forward about fifteen years and some change and you'll be exercising all your self-constraint not to punch people complaining about all their free time over the summer in the throat. But I will wholeheartedly agree with you that working at Borders sucks a bag of dicks.

Back East is definitely a whole different world. My internship was not nearly as boring as my normal job, although the pay wasn't as good. I'll have enough of my job in the month between next week and school starting. And I think I'm ready to go back too. I want to get somewhere and progress. Working full time has it's advantages (no homework, TV, etc.) but is very boring.

Yeah, and after working a full day the last thing you want to do is work on all the little things you put off doing until summer; instead, all you want to do is smoke pot and weep uncontrollably into an old and tattered Winnie the Pooh.
