And since I'd guessed it in the last thread and not gotten a response, I'm saying once again that I think L01 is from Rosencrantz & Guildenstern are Dead.

Sorry about that- you did indeed guess correctly.

Oddly enough, I remembered it not because of the film, but because I distinctly recalled it being spoken by Richard Dreyfus, and couldn't get that out of my head.

C05) "Repo Man", Otto and Leila.

K10) "Gone With the Wind" - Rett Butler

K17) "Grab the Money and Run"

I'm glad you took a stab at K10 -- not because you were correct (you aren't, surprisingly), but because it was guessed already and I forgot to delete it. That one is actually from "Clue" (it's a jesting misquote, as the original is "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.").

C05 is correct (1 point), but K17 is not. You owe 1 quote.

Jeez, what's with all the extra carriage returns at the end? As if these threads didn't get long enough!

A06 correct (FREE), A08 correct (FREE), A20 correct (1 point), A26 correct (2 points), A46 correct (2 points), B14 correct (2 points, and really good because it's a misquote), B16 correct (1 point -- I'm giving it to you, but it's actually from Spy Kids), G01 correct (FREE), G02 correct (FREE), J13 correct (2 points), K04 correct (2 points), K06 correct (2 points), K09 correct (2 points, and why do we keep getting Brazil quotes?), K10 incorrect (and it's already been guessed, anyway), K11 correct (2 points), K12 correct (2 points)

Grand Total: 20 Points

You owe me 20 questions. Welcome to the game.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I MISSED THIS. K02 is Run Lola Run.

talmanes March 21 2008, 16:57:29 UTC
That is correct, and you now owe 2 quotes.

1. She's too skinny lad! What you need is a good dwarven woman with a beard you can hang on to!

2. Character 1: How are things in the outer office?
Character 2: My troika was pursued by wolves.
Character 1: It's a good thing this cookie arrived unscathed.

K19. Robin Hood Men in Tights...This film should be required watching for everyone! I've seen it dozens of times and still laugh my tail off!

Damn it... you're right, but that one's already been guessed by lair_of_fenrir. I have no idea why it's still up there. I'd love to give you credit (and quotes), but I can't. I hate it when I forget to clean up the quotes properly.

I had a friend who also felt it was required viewing, and I will tell you exactly what I told him: After the age of 13, I realized that Mel Brooks was not very funny.
