And so February is leaving like a dream. Surprisingly mild a month, though I cannot say the chaos has been missed. It is quite wonderful and puts me in a terrific sort of mood. I've decided to send for some of my books that I've left in my shop in Soho, and they should be arriving soon, I should hope.

Ah so it is Valentine's Day in Desai once again. It is quite refreshing to see so many people having a good time and celebrating love. Though by no means does this mean that I am retracting my statement from last year, it is nice to see smiles and good feelings all around. Even if they are for the wrong reasons.

Is there anything more relaxing than the sprawl of a massive empty library? No, I think not. I think I should be content to spend several days, if not weeks, in such a place and never tire of it. If I could have given input into Heaven's final design, I can most assuredly tell you that this would have made it in, oh yes.
