Well this was conceived as a webcomic. My biggest beef with webcomics is often they are long sprawling, epics that you need to sort through to enjoy. These Nandi pages are supposed to be bite-size, stand-alones. As more come-out you'll learn more about the characters and the world, but you don't need to know any back-story to jump-on.
