we ain't going to the town, we're going to the city.

The other day, I pulled into the wrong building complex when I was trying to get to work. I mean, seriously: everything in Corporate Woods (what a name, right?) looks the same. Anyway, I spent about ten minutes trying to figure out why my swipe-key wasn't working. I was also wondering why they had taken down their old statue of some Greek god and ( Read more... )

Corporate Woods... I love it.

I don't really like Klondike bars because they seems to have some coffee-like taste in the chocolate. I'm not sure if this actually exists or whether I am just imagining it.

So basically you're just saying that life is full of situations where, in order to get something you enjoy, you have to make sacrifices. Like how in order to enjoy Japan, I had to sit on a 12 hour long flight, and sit through 3 hours of class a day. And even then, there's still a language barrier between me and almost every Japanese person. But I'm still having an amazing time anyway.

So yeah, I'd say the momentary taste bud stimulation is pretty worth it, unless you plan on just wasting your life away because you're not willing to endure the brain freeze, or sticky fingers, or spend the dollar or so on the Klondike bar. But I think that's a pretty boring way to go through life, isn't it? Anyway, sticky fingers is all part of the fun of eating any such ice cream treat.

Say hi to everyone for me tonight. Which is already happening here, and is actually pretty awesome. Something good to look forward to!

in all seriousness
that was a much more thought-out post than i would have expected on this entry,
& i'm glad you gave my seemingly baseless metaphor some good thought)

i just eat my klondike bar with the wrapper still around the bottom, and slowly peel it away as i advance through the deliciousness, thus saving my hands from becoming sticky and gross.

Klondike bars are delicious no matter how they are eaten. Try eating one with a fork.
