Hoorah for finding a more suitable palatial residence than the pit at the arse-end of East Finchley you currently reside in.
'tis a bit of a shame though that we've never managed to co-ordinate meeting up for drinks in the rather more salubrious bit of North London along the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line my own residence is in whilst you are still living North of the River yourself. Though the invite to come join us in one of the fine drinking establishments in the land of the High Gate above the Archway still stands even after you remove yourself to the lands South of the River.
HUZZAH! The news that you're moving to SE London is great indeed. There may yet be a new incarnation of the SE London posse at this rate :-) (OK OK there was a Bermondsey Posse for a bit, but the damn splitters have split.)

If I thought for a moment you would be offended, I would not have described it thusly. If there is actually something here that upsets you, for God's sake tell me, old chap.

I take GREAT umbrage to this insinuation that north is more flea-ridden than the south. Take due note my palazzo only contains mould.
(*o, and: 'Last Tuesday society' has a valentine thing advertised btw; I am giving it a miss myself, but think Jeff and the others are doing it if you should fancy going. :-)
